Clos Lachance Syrah Central Coast 2010
Beautiful aromas of huckleberries, blueberries and blackberries. A bit of vanilla, espresso and smoky bacon. On the palate, I get a burst of fruit balanced with natural acidity and mid-palate depth. The meaty components remain and are complimented by a savory herbaciousness. Hints of cherry and vanilla round out the finish.
