Clos Guirouilh Jurançon Sec la Peïrine 2013

Member Review by vin0vin0:

Really nice Jurancon blend of Petite Manseng and Gros Manseng. On the nose there's notes of creamy lemon and a hint of almond. On the palate there is nice lemon pith, honey and a touch of almond. The acidity is nice but not overt and the finish is of medium length with just a slight hint of tannin.

Clos Guirouilh:
This 10 hectare estate has been in the same family since the 16th century and is now in the hands of  Jean Guirouilh. It is located in the small village of Lasseube about 12 miles south of the town of Pau. They make a range of Jurancon wines both sweet and dry
