I thought I had a bad bottle until I opened 2 more on consecutive nights. Don't know if I had a bad case or what but it is as flat as a board!
Has a young and dry, dusty nose. Licorice present even on the nose. In the mouth its more fruity with red berry flavors. Lots of woodsy notes, particularly cedar and a dry woodsy finish. Tight. Dry. Young. Sour red licorice finish.
Spiced molten chocolate on the nose, followed by raspberries and bitter chocolate in the mouth. Light and delicate.

This young wine will benefit from several years in the cellar, but if you drink it now, decant it for a few hours before serving. That will at least give the tannins some chance to breathe and soften, revealing the complex flavors of currants, blackberries, cassis, olive tapenade and sweet oak.
