This is the style of chard that I like. It is not so over the top buttery. And the acidity remains crisp which means that there was less malolactic fermentation.
Great, rich nose of peaches with some vanilla from the oak. Nicely crisp with a finish on peaches.

Pale gold in color with a green tinge, the 2006 estate Chardonnay greets the nose with aromas of pear, peach and citrus, as well as some sweet toast. In the mouth, the wine is alive with the vibrant flavors of concentrated fruit, with a hint of toast. A full bodied wine, this Chardonnay shows excellent balance and exhibits a long, crisp finish.
Toasty pear, apple and citrus flavors are prevalent in this bright, textured, refreshing wine. A mineral edge adds complexity and interest, finishing bright and fresh.
