Food Pairings for Clos du Val Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley
One of my go-to Napa Cabs, especially because it is actually a Bordeaux style blend that is Cab dominant. It has a reddish-purple color that has aromas of heavy dark fruit along with hints of oak and spice. The palate is extremely complex with intense flavors of dark cherries, toffee, cocoa - these flavors are powerful yet very soft and refined tannins remain as finish your glass. Enjoy with a steak or ,hell, by itself.

Made in the classic Clos du Val style, this Cabernet is less ripe, drier and more acidic than many of its Napa Valley neighbors. It's also very tannic.
