- Very deep purple. Lovely and mouthfilling after a clean, almost floral aroma. Flattering, exciting and well balanced. Slightly dry tannins at the end but utterly classic. Could be good value depending on the final price for this wine from specific parcels within the Delon of Léoville Las Cases St Julien holdings.

- Sweet, thick, black cherries. A bit simple and tarty, but lots of short-term pleasure. A bit jagged, though pretty good for a second wine (of Las Cases).
