The 2005 was a sweepstakes winner in the 2007 Sonoma County Harvest Fair; I tried it at the Wine Annex last night. It was a bit heavy on the oak, but had some nice acid. It was really nice with our Dungeness crab dipped in butter.Add winemaker's notes

A crowd-pleasing wine, with its oaky flavors of vanilla, smoke and buttered toast, and ripe fruity flavors of pears and tropical fruits. The texture is creamy smooth, with a rich edge of smoky honey. A nice value.
