Nice luminous yellow. Typical CA chardonnay. Lots of oak and butter, but a nice tinge of acidity that really brings out the flavors. It makes me lust for a big, creamy pasta dish. A good wine, in spite of the anti-california-chard trend that is sweeping the wine world.

Delightfully light and fruity. I am not so good that I can tell what fruits, but I taste honey, light acidity, maybe apricot jam? I don't really know, just really tastes great with a good aroma.

Our Classic Sonoma County Chardonnay exhibits ripe fruity flavors of pear, crisp green apple, vanilla and toasty caramel. A medium-bodied wine, approximately 70% is barrel-fermented to integrate fruit and oak flavors.

Long, intense flavors dominate this barrel-fermented wine. Aromas of buttered toast and fall fruits make this a fine Chardonnay.

Wine Tasting NotesAromas of apple blossom, pear and sweet lemon drop are complimented by toasty oak, spice and a buttery nuance imparted from the malolactic fermentation and barrel aging. The flavors reflect the aromas and are bright and juicy with rich ripe apple and pear. A rich smooth mouthfeel and silky texture lead to a medium-long finish.
