Winemaker's Notes:
Briarcrest is bottled 100% Cabernet Sauvignon a rather rare find, as Cabernet is nearly always blended with other varietals. Alexander Valley is one of the few regions that can successfully produce a 100% Cabernet wine, because of the characteristic lush fruity character and soft, round, supple tannins of the Cab grown here.A richly textured, smooth wine, Briarcrest offers thick blackberry, dark cherry and cassis flavors, harmonized with toasty oak, cedar, tobacco and chocolate aromas. Briarcrest is intense, big and fruity in its youth and can be bottle-aged up to 15 years, developing added smoothness and rich complexity.
