Clos de Los Siete Michel Rolland Malbec Blend Clos de Los Siete 2009
Solamente puedo decir que este vino es espectacular! Excelente blend.
Deep purple wine. Full bodied. Very dense and frutal. Long after taste.
I also really liked this. I was expecting something quite a bit different, but it's actually pretty subdued. A lot of lush cherry up front (though, not sugary which is nice). Some notes of dark chocolate, and a real surprising amount of structure. The finish is spicy and dry… maybe a little oak heavy, but not too overdone. Very nice—I'd totally buy it again. Paired it with a roasted pork with green peppercorn sauce, rough mashed fingerling potatoes, and sautéed asparagus.
We really enjoyed this wine and are looking forward to seeing where it goes over time. Big enough to lay down for future drinking, smooth enough to drink now if you don't mind some heat. Nice oak in the background. Alcohol seems a bit on the high side. I like to pair this with food from the region - churasco, etc.
Highly recomend it.
loads of varying dark fruits on the nose and palate - blackberries, black cherries, currants and hints of blue berries and cocoa. Enjoyable on its own and with food.

Bright medium ruby. Sexy, nuanced aromas of blackberry, game, chocolate, herbs and smoky oak, with suggestions of liqueur-like ripeness. Suave on entry, then dense and smooth in the middle, showing good violet lift to the intense black fruit flavors. The rising finish shows excellent retention of fruit and tannins that are firm but not hard. As usual, this bottling offers a lot of flavor for the price.
Purpurrot, fast violett. Reifes Bouquet nach schwarzen Johannisbeeren, Edelhölzern, Pralinen. Wunderbar süsse Frucht im einnehmenden Gaumen, crèmig, Brombeeren und reife Zwetschgen, schöne Röstaromatik, dunkles Brot, druckvolles Finale.
The 2009 Clos de Los Siete is a nearly identical blend with the same elevage. Ripe, succulent, and impressively balanced, this outstanding value will also drink well for another 5–6 years.
Rich yet cut, with complex layers of cassis, blackberry and fig paste leading to notes of tobacco and wild herb that linger on the minerally finish. Malbec, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Petit Verdot. Drink now. -NW Wine Spectator. A Proprietary Blend wine from Mendoza in Argentina. 2009 Clos de Los Siete 750ml
