Clos de Los Siete By Michel Rolland Mendoza 2010

Winemaker's Notes:

90 points Stephen Tanzer (International Wine Cellar): (57% malbec, 15% each merlot and cabernet franc, 10% syrah and 3% petit verdot): Saturated ruby. Pungent aromas of cassis, blackberry, licorice and violet pastille. Sweet, pliant and generous, with just enough acidity to give life and shape to the black fruit and bitter chocolate flavors. Finishes long and flavorful, with substantial chewy, ripe tannins and lingering notes of chocolate and minerals. This wine has benefited from the cooler year. (Mar/Apr 2013)

Their mission was to make wines in Argentina that rival some of the best in the world, without the use of fertilizers, pesticides and with traditional, time-tested methods. Since then, a collective of wine-making estates bearing the Clos de los Siete name have emerged and gained prominence.  Read less

Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.
