Chez Goedhuis: Very dark with a very simple nose. Tarry, front palate and not really enough convincing fruit to back it up. Very drying.

Chez J&B: 70% Grenache, 15% Syrah, 15% Mourvedre. More concentrated and less expressive than the Vacqueyras. Chewy and dry. Thick and jewelly - not the most intense but possibly among the more pleasurable - relatively early developing.
