- ($70) Deep ruby-red. Superripe nose hints at minerals, smoked meat and nuts. Concentrated, sexy and liqueur-like, with flavors of dark berries, pepper, violet and spices. Wonderfully deep, lush wine with a velvety, seamless texture and terrific vinosity. This is considerably more pliant than a youthfully tight bottle I tasted a year ago.
