Clos Albertus Saint-Georges-St. Emilion 2005

External Review by WineExpress.com:

One of only 19 estates that still carry the Saint-Georges-St. Emilion appellation, Clos Albertus produces gorgeous wines from its 20 acres of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. This 2005 is a beauty with blackberry and fresh herbal aromas and even a hint of eucalyptus. Medium bodied with a ripe core of chocolate and plum, it's a blend of 60% Merlot 30% Cab Sauv and 10% Cab Franc. Because it's from what's known as a "satellite" to St. Emilion, it represents value that you rarely find in Bordeaux. Limited.
