Great wine. very smooth. One of the best reds I've had in a while. Smell to die for.

Really enjoyed this wine. Not sure which vintage I had though...probably 2007 though. Definitely recommend it.

I agree with the reviews on this one. Reminds me of a Saintsbury pinot on steroids - with the same jammieness.

As always the California Zinfandel is a challenging and rewarding wine to produce. Severe selection criteria and master blending show in the final product, which showcases a wide array of dark berry fruit including black cherry and strawberry. Additionally, spice notes and a lasting finish of vanilla from oak aging and firm, supple tannins add complexity to this wine. - Charles G. The 2009 Zinfandel California (80,000 cases produced) is a straightforward, jammy, richly fruity effort that makes a mockery of many overpriced Zinfandels. It delivers plenty of briery, peppery, spicy fruit in a medium-bodied, luscious format meant to be consumed over the next 1-2 years.

Have a yen for Zin? This onersquo;s very nice, and the price is right, too. Itrsquo;s rich and jammy-tasting, with harmonious plum, strawberry, spice and herb-laced flavors, finishing soft. Drink now through 2001.
