It is difficult to find inexpensive Viognier, but Cline Cellars' 2010, while not quite as interesting as their Pinot Gris, is certainly an authentic Viognier. Notes of white peach, apricot jam, honeysuckle and assorted tropical fruits emerge from this fresh, light to medium-bodied white along with crisp underlying acidity. At this price, it's a steal. Moreover, there are 25,000 cases available.
A delightfully crisp wine that is bursting with tropical fruits and spices. It’s brilliant as an apéritif, but its freshness will also brighten up just about any meal you can think of.
This excellent value winery has turned out a straightforward, honeyed apricot-scented, fresh, light to medium-bodied 2008 Viognier that is meant to be consumed over the next six months.
Tasty peach, apricot and citrus peel notes are light-bodied and refreshing, yet still balanced with focus and concentration. Drink now.
Floral and focused, with bright peach, lemon and tangy apple flavors that will show well with food. Drink now through 2003.
