User Reviews for Cline Cellars Red Rhone Blend California Cashmere
Add your reviewA very nice, easy drinking California Rhone-style blend. Though the percentages of Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvedre are not listed, It's obvious that Grenache and Syrah are the big players here. Immediately after opening the bottle, I was a bit taken aback by the agressive nose. Strong alcohol and bright red fruits dominate. I decided to let it sit for a few before drinking. After about 30 minutes of opening up, it was a much more pleasant wine, probably due to its youth. Pleasant aromas of earth and red berry on the nose. On the palate, the Grenache sings with the perfect amount of black pepper to compliment the rich fruit of the Syrah. Overall, a very well balanced and easy drinking Rhone blend. Definitely a steal for the money! Highly recommended!
