Food Pairings for Cline Cellars Red Blend California Red Truck Red
A small step above plonk, but tolerable for the price (five bucks with coupon). This is a blend of quite a large number of different types of wine, and I was having trouble pinning down any particular notes, although I'm a wine newbie. Definitely give this time to breathe before drinking. This is cheap and generic enough that I think the best use of this may be to make sangria, or to cook with it rather than drink it. Not for a nice occasion for sure, but maybe when you're looking for something inexpensive to go with spaghetti or pizza.

Delicious and dependable. Whenever you need something cheap that will go well with a wide variety of meals, this is your ticket. Anything spicy, hearty, or tomatoey pairs well. It's a good choice when you're uncertain as to pairing options or with foods you haven't tried before.
I know a lot of people like this as a value wine, but it's not my cup of.... wine.

My parents bought me a bottle of this wine as a joke because I drove red truck, but it turned out that the wine was actually very good! It was full-bodied with lots of flavor and a nice finish.....and a great label!!
External Reviews for Cline Cellars Red Blend California Red Truck Red
Wine Tasting NotesMedium-bodied and complex, flavors of chocolate, berries, cherries and licorice abound. The black pepper finish settles with smooth tannins. You can drink red truck anywhere, anytime (it pairs well with pizza and tomato based dishes). And for you die-hard Cline fans, take it for a spin and floor it baby, metaphorically speakingof course!
