- Of the tasting notes provided by Cline... I most identified the mint and possibly eucalyptus flavors -- that is, if eucalyptus tastes something like menthol. Anyhow, it was a delicious minty blackberry explosion with a nice finish of spicy pepper. Highly recommended...

- Eucalyptus mint, firm structure and exotic spice are key elements in Cline's 2006 BigBreak Zinfandel. Always a robust wine, this vintage oozes with power, revealingcrisp strawberries, exotic spice, as well as a toasted oak characteristic. It holds adistinct dusty berry characteristic (reminiscent of picking wild black berries inthe hot summer sun), what Cline affectionately describes as their Oakley terroir. Big Break Zinfandel can be enjoyed young but it should also benefit from 5 to 7years of cellaring. Enjoy this wine with big, spicy foods with plenty of zip, suchas blackened Ahi.
