What to Expect

The classic Bordeaux blends rely on either Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon for the bulk of the wine with additions of Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, and Malbec helping to add complexity, color, body and structure to the finished wine.

Winemakers Notes

Another great wine from Stag's Leap. Aromoas of dark fruits, allspice, nutmeg and clove. Flavors of black cherry, currant and chocolate with silky smooth tannins. This combo of cabernet, merlot, cabernet franc and malbec will age gracefully for 4-6 years.

A very lush, Bordeaux style wine. A nice, firm structure, soft finish, and dark fruit flavors that were great right out of the bottle, but got even better as it opened up.
