Kit's Killer Cab seems more like the title of a drama thriller - almost like Carrie - but w/o the pig's blood. I digress. . . . noticeably the ladies of AW are Cab Girls and this Cab sent us on a sweet ride. Much like the best drama-thrillers it contained all of the right stuff to make it a blockbuster. Body, richness, supple tannins, and a finish that lasted three days. The nose opens with cinnamon and vanilla oak and leads into a bit of star anise. I thoroughly enjoy the dark chocolate it offers on the palate followed up by black cherry in the mid palate. It changes seamlessly and the finish brought back all the right stuff, again and again.

I have discovered from my years of wine drinking that I am, indeed, a "Cab Girl". All that I am tingles with anticipation when I know that I'm going to get to taste a little Cab. That's the prelude to the saga that was Kit's Killer Cab. The nose was astringent at first, like nail polish remover, but that burned off to reveal delicious caramel and espresso tones. This wine has a big delicious mouthfeel, with tingly pepper notes and baked cherry action. TASTY! And oh, the sweet finish. I was tasting this wine for quite a while after it was gone, a nice reminder of the time we shared. Great Cab for a decent value, something any Cab Girl can appreciate.

...This is Kit's KILLER Cab. And it's the truth! The aroma is giving me a good melange of cab sensations, some candied elements, licorice, and fruit. Then you taste, BAM! ...and this is the blueprint for how I like my cabs to be: some fruit, some spice, both really well balanced. The structure also sees the flavors come at you in staggered times so you experience them together, separately and more! There's a slightly salty aspect to the finish which is nice as well. This at the The Climber White Wine are my top two favorite Clif Bar Wines... check them out!!!
