Clayhouse Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon Paso Robles 2007

Winemaker's Notes:

The Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is driven by red fruit flavors (cherry and plum), complemented with dusty oak, coffee, and slight green olive nuances. It’s rich and soft in the mouth, with a toasty, dry finish of fine, dusty tannins.

Medium bodied with good fruity flavor - dark cherry, strawberry and blackberry. With a hint of mint, tar and licorice. Somewhat subdued tannins with a fairly long, aromatic finish with a bit of pepper.

The wine bursts with blackberry liqueur, blueberry, violets, black pepper, savory herbs, red currants, elderberries, minerals, and a hint of sea salt on the mid-palate.
