Classic Artisan Cheese Set

External Review by WineExpress.com:

For those who savor tradition and excellence. Four distinct cheeses from Europe and America. Tastes to keep palates enamored, and wanting more. Set includes: Gorgonzola Picante, 8 oz. Piquant and spicy, with hints of wood mold and mushrooms and a bite that gently surprises the tongue. The aroma is perhaps stronger than the flavor, and an almost alcoholic tang comes from the washed rind. Firmer and sharper than its sweet cousin, Dolce. A gourmet delight from Italy. Picadine Chabis, 4.7 oz. Soft, milky goat’s cheese from the region of Poitou (Perigord), the cradle of France's goat cheese production. A unique cheese wrapped in chestnut leaves, offering a mild, nutty taste and aroma. Le Chatelain Camembert, 8.8 oz. Flavored delicately, salty and soft, with many underlying nuances. Made in France from cow's milk. Grafton Vermont Cheddar, 8 oz. An outstanding 2-year-old classic cheddar, one of the country's finest artesian cheeses. Made in Vermont from the milk of Jersey cows, producing a flavorful creaminess that offsets the sharpness.
