Clarendon Hills Grenache Kangarilla(2002)

"Robert Parker 94: The expansive, full-bodied 2002 Grenache Old Vines Kangarilla Vineyard offers aromas and flavors of pure kirsch liqueur. With in-your-face levels of fruit and glycerin, an unctuous texture, and a huge finish, it, too, should drink well for 10-15 years."" (10/04)Wine Spectator 93: Dense, ripe and tightly wound, a closed bud of a wine thatÂ’s holding in acres of dark berry, cherry, rose petal and white pepper flavors that are bursting at the seams of superfine tannins. Has impeccable balance. Best from 2008 through 2020. (3/04) """

Roman Bratasiuk is one of Planet Earth's greatest winemakers, and obviously a top-notch viticulturist given his obsession with sourcing extraordinary fruit from ancient McLaren Vale vineyards. -Wine Advocate
