Clarendon Hills Grenache Clarendon Old Vines Blewitt Springs 2004

Winemaker's Notes:

Wine Advocate Review As usual for this cuvee, the 2004 Grenache Blewitt Springs possesses an extraordinary, exotic, flamboyant personality that causes Roman Bratasiuk to say its his Dolly Parton-styled wine. Terrific notes of blackberries, raspberries, and rich kirsch liqueur are accompanied by an opulent, flamboyant wine with tremendous viscosity and richness as well as a lusty, heady finish. In short, its a mouthfilling, full-bodied red to drink during its first 5-7 years of life.

Just had a bottle of this at a restaurant. Drinking well. Full bodied with great raspberry notes in the finish. Very unique and delicious.
