Claar Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot White Bluffs Vineyard Columbia Valley 2012

Winemaker's Notes:

"The color is a dark crimson center with maroon edges. On the nose cherry, coffee, dark spice, vanilla and dill. The pallet is full with balanced acidity, soft tannins and a lingering dark fruit aftertaste. This wine has a very nice balance of fruit, fruit and oak tannins, and acidity to allow for a long shelf life. Enjoy now or in 10 years." -Winery

Claar Cellars:
On the White Bluffs overlooking the last free-flowing stretch of the mighty Columbia River, visionary Russell Claar planted eight acres of wine grapes in 1979. That block of Riesling has since developed into more than 90 acres under the stewardship of daughter Crista and her husband Bob Whitelatch.
