Member Review by Mimi Kim:

Brachetto Cinzano is an aromatic sparkling wine with a sweet and fruity flavor and a distinct ruby color. It's nose has aromas of strawberries and raspberries. It's taste is refreshing, bright and slightly sweet with flavors of sweet red berries. Delicious as after-dinner wine or with chocolate desserts and pastries.

At the heart of the world’s favorite spirited beverages you will find Cinzano, recognized by its signature blue and red label and 250-year tradition of excellence. With classic appeal and versatile brands, Cinzano’s legacy is sure to continue for generations to come. In 1757 CINZANO two visionary brothers, Giovanni Giacomo and Carolo Stefano Cinzano, Master Distillers, opened a small shop in Turin where a dream soon became a reality. As their traditional Vermouth production rapidly increased, so did their reputation for quality. The Savoy monarchs beckoned the brothers’ expertise to create a sparkling wine to emulate the popular French Champagne of the early 19th century. The result was the birth of Cinzano Sparkling Wines in 1850.The Cinzano range of sparkling wines includes both sweet and dry versions, each with their own unique characteristics. Production Area Piedmont, Italy Grape Varieties 100% Brachetto Color Ruby red Bouquet Distinctive, intense, with rose flowery and ripe fruits Taste Sweet, aromatic, fresh, lively and musky taste Alcohol 6.5% Serving Suggestions Delicious as after-dinner wine or with chocolate desserts and pastries.

Brachetto d'Acqui - Luxuryweb.com/ Brachetto d’Acqui is a soft and luscious red sparkler that is drunk as an aperitif or accompanying desserts, especially chocolate covered or chocolate bodied desserts. These wines have a bright red hue, generously fruity nose redolent of strawberries, honeysuckle, and rose-petals, with fine, persistent bubbles. Cinzano’s Brachetto d’Acqui is an excellent sample of the genre. The romantic color, fresh berry flavors, and complex, sweet finish, invite toasts to love and happiness. A few days ago I heard the following Piemontese proverb “You should drink Barolo with your wife, and Brachetto with your mistress”.

Brachetto d'Acqui - Highly Recommended, TheWineBuzz/ Rich, perfumed aroma of black currant, raspberry and boysenberry with an underlying hint of lime; balanced sweetness and loads of plummy fresh fruit flavors that go on and on. Delightful.
