Cien Y Pico Garnacha Tintorera Manchuela Spain 2008
Cien y Pico is an exciting new producer based in Manchuela, a small region in south-eastern Spain. The name 'Cien y Pico' means 'hundred and something' and refers to the age of the ancient Garnacha Tintorera vines from which the wines are made. The wine is packed full of black fruits, plums, blueberries and herbal notes. The tannins are supple and full.
RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.
