Churchill County’s first vineyard was established in 2001 with ten different varieties of fine wine grapes seven miles south of Fallon, Nevada. Fallon is located in the high desert Lahontan Valley area. The climate is similar to that of Eastern Washington state. Churchill Vineyards is Nevada’s second licensed winery and first “Estate Winery.” In September 2004 Churchill Vineyards successfully created its first vintage of premium estate wines.

Sehr komplex, beerig dunkel, junge Frucht vor kraftvollem Tannin.
"An impressive, finely tannic Port with solid ripe fruits and great black jelly and fig flavors."- R.V. "Peppery aromas, with lots of crushed berries. Medium- to full-bodied, with light sweetness and a soft, round tannic structure. Best after 2010." -JS
