Churchill Estates Douro Reserva 2007

Winemaker's Notes:

Wine produced in the Douro varieties: 40% Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca 30% and 30% Tinta Roriz. Approximately 50% of the wine aged 12 months in new barrels and used French oak, and was then packed with the best selection of wines aged in stainless steel. It has an intense cherry-red color, with rich and complex aromas of ripe fruit with well integrated wood notes and nuances of cinnamon. Long and elegant in the mouth, concentrated and complex, also shows excellent wines.

Fallon is located in the high desert Lahontan Valley area. The climate is similar to that of Eastern Washington state. Churchill Vineyards is Nevada’s second licensed winery and first “Estate Winery.” In September 2004 Churchill Vineyards successfully created its first vintage of premium estate wines.
