The concept of Chronic Cellars came about in the midst of harvest in 2004. We had used the term “The Chronic” to describe likable objects before, but we had never considered it a suitable descriptor for wine. We sat alongside the crush pad one evening in our wine stained clothes and wet boots laughing about the idea of a wine that targeted a casual lifestyle.
Just tasted a bottle of the Stone Fox to be released March 2011, and it was delicious just by itself!
External Reviews for Chronic Cellars White Rhone Blend Paso Robles Stone Fox
55% Grenache Blanc 28% Roussane 17% Viognier Wow! Light Golden Hay Color. This wine is bright with mild acidity, hint of spicy oak and wet stone. Other aromas consist of peaches, pears and other citrus fruits. Taste of oranges, fresh pineapple and a hint of fresh lemon on the back end. Gaining complexity and balance with age this wine is only getting better by the day.
