Yummy, but crazy calories! If Chocovine is comparable to Bailey's in terms of cream and calorie content, then one standard 5 oz. wine serving has over 400 calories!! I've contacted their customer service and they refuse to give our calorie or nutrition content. Suspicious! Try it yourself: info@chocovine.com

Choco Vine is a product of Holland and is the perfect union of wine and chocolate. I tried it at a wine tasting last weekend and it is delicious! Too bad it's not sold in Maryland.

Chocovine is sweet success: it pummels spirited counterparts (such as baily's) with a velvety cream, chocolate and caramel flavors. I found it at Merchant's Fine WIne (local wine store, Dearborn, MI). Label design and bottle looked iffy, but the gal at the register convinced me and now I'm hooked! It's half the cost of the alternative liquors, so I'm not so bummed (I get a d/c if I stock-up on six or more). I'm such a geek for dessert wines. :)

This blend of red wine & chocolate is fantastic - smooth with no bitterness. Best served chilled - I enjoy it after dinner to sip but it is also can be blended with ice cream for a smooth dessert. I rate this wine a 5

We tried Chocovine at a wine bar restaurant in our town and saw it a few weeks later at a wine tasting. We think it's an excellent after-dinner dessert wine and had a very smooth finish. We recommend everyone try it at least once. If nothing else, it's a great conversational wine at parties. I'm excited to try it blended with ice, as well. It's always nice to put a new spin on an old favorite...you'll see!

I was given a bit to sample at my husband's family picnic last Sunday. At this party all sorts of spirits were being passed around (lemonade and everclear...) I tried to sip the Chocovine but it was harsh smelling, but sweet tasting. I put it in my latte and it tasted fine. If you want to get drunk on something sweet, buy this. If you want something to sip and enjoy - this is not for you.
