Wine Tasting NotesLight straw color. Honeysuckle, pear and subtle layers of floral aromas abound in this wine. Framed by balanced and delicate French Oak aromas. Full creamy texture with balanced acidity and a luscious burst of fruit in the mid-palate. This wine also has a lingering finish which hints at its aging potential.

Winemaker's Notes:

Chardonnay and Riesling aren't the only noble varieties. Sauvignon Blanc has made some of the most famous white wines ever produced. It is with this in mind that we created Elevage Blanc. We have made a meritage style wine from a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and the rarely used Sauvignon Gris. It is a unique blend based on the role model of the great white wines from Bordeaux.     Light straw color Honeysuckle, pear and subtle layers of floral aromas abound in this wine. Framed by balanced and delicate French Oak aromas. Full creamy texture with balanced acidity and a luscious burst of fruit in the mid-palate. This wine also has a lingering finish which hints at its aging potential.   Vintage: 2005 Type: Elevage Blanc Grape Variety Used: Sauvignon Gris, Sauvignon Blanc Alcohol Level: 13.5% Dates Grapes Picked: August 30 - Sept. 6, 2005 Number of Cases Produced: 682 cases
