Blend of sau Blanc & Pinot Gris - tastes like smooth white burgundy. Very smooth with an almost sweet finish
Memorable. Round, balanced, Chunky fruit counterpoints flint like finish. Best 2013 selection so far.
loved it, tasted and bought it at the Chimney Rock winery... notes of berries and a little bacon. Drank on a special occasion last year and really enjoyed.
Three and a half glasses
Big dark fruits, smooth tannins and a great finish! I didn't get too much spice but it was a great wine. Wish it could be a daily drinker for me :) Thanks Beth & David for a great B-day present!

A Proprietary Blend wine from California in USA. 2008 Chimney Rock Elevage 750ml
The estate's 2008 Elevage is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petite Verdot. It shows good up-front fruit, but I don't find the sheer personality of the estate's finest Cabernet Sauvignons here. Sweet dark berries, licorice, mint and flowers... Robert Parkers Wine Advocate. Sauvignon Blanc has made some of the most famous white wines ever produced. It is with this in mind that we created Elevage Blanc. We have made a meritage style wine from a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and the rarely used Sauvignon Gris. It is a unique blend based on the role model of the great white wines from Bordeaux.

92 points and a Cellar Selection, Wine Enthusiast"Less jammy and forward than the '04 Elevage, but more closed and tannic than the winery's regular 2005 Cabernet, this Bordeaux blend really needs time to show its stuff. It has obviously deep and impressive currant and blackberry flavors, but the tannins are significant. Hold until at least 2010." (12/08)Wine Spectator"Elegant, supple and well-focused, with cherry and sage aromas and bright plum and toasty spice flavors that linger toward a layered finish. Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. Drink now through 2013." (10/08)
