Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru Chateau de Puligny-Montrachet 2001

Winemaker's Notes:

91-93 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): (from a .25 ha parcel). A touch of wood spice frames ultra-elegant white flower and limestone fruit plus a beguiling hint of smoke, leading to wonderfully intense, absolutely crystalline flavors that appear to be extracted directly from liquid stone. Intense, long, pure and classy juice, I like the style of this very much. Drink: 2008-15. (Jul 2003)
