Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru Chateau de Puligny-Montrachet 2000

Winemaker's Notes:

89-92 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): (from a .25 ha parcel). A clear step as this is much more elegant and fine than the prior wines with superb finesse and delineation plus flavors that seem chiseled from stone. The acid balance is outstanding and thought here is a hint of wood, it is a background nuance and seemingly much better integrated than several of the prior wines. Impressive. Drink: 2008-15. (Jul 2002)
