Chatel Buis Pinot Noir 2010
Not a typical Chardonnay when it is from Burgundy. Take a trip to the heart of viticulture in France. This wine made from exclusively Chardonnay grape is grown where the great white wine region Cote de Beaune is to the north and Maconnais to the south. This is a well-made chardonnay that drinks a lot more expensive than its price.
Food Pairings for Chatel Buis Pinot Noir
There is subtle richness with citrus notes and minerality. Most vineyards from Cote Chalonnaise region lies on south-east facing slopes on limestone and calcareous soil. This Chardonnay has a grapefruit and lemon nose with hints of honeysuckle. A crispy, clean expression of Chardonnay with a medium-long finish.
