Garnet color in the glass going to violet on the edge. Ripe black cherry, blackberry and plum aromas on the nose. A juicy rush of ripe dark fruit quickly gives way to ample tannins that linger on the palate. This drinks well on it's own, but really begs for a meal. This wine will greatly benefit from decanting it at least 30 minutes to an hour beforehand (this wine was twice as big and complex an hour after I opened it - definitely worth the wait...)

Glorious full, aromatic gentle Rhone with complex hydrocarbon hints and massive fruit. Aged in our 'cellar' for six years and opened for a special occasion, a respectful hush fell around the table as people took their first sips. If you've ever spent too much on a Chateauneuf - look out for this.

The 2007 Vin de Pays Terre de Bussiere (6,500 cases produced) is blend of 50andndash;60% Merlot and the rest Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Grenache. A great value, it exhibits a dense ruby/purple color in addition to loads of fat, juicy red and black fruits, licorice, chocolate, and spice, and a fleshy, succulent style. Drink it over the next 2andndash;3 years.

Quality soars with the well-made 2007 Vin de Pays Terre de Bussiere, a blend of 65% Merlot and the rest Syrah and a dollop of Grenache. Its deep ruby/purple color is followed by abundant aromas of fruit, camphor, cassis, white chocolate, and berries offered in an opulent, full-bodied, lush style. Itandrsquo;s hard to beat this wine for the price.
