Châteaude Malle 2005
Tasting notes The dress is yellow golden with light green reflections. The nose is very meaning and of a big to freshness. Aromas of citrus fruits, which the grapefruit and exotic fruits are excited of this still young wine. The liveliness of the mouth calls back the aromatic freshness of the nose. It is a delicate and air wine where the sensual liqueur is perfectly balanced by the crunchy acidity. The length in mouth is luxuriously by an incredible aromatic intensity calling back the freshness of citrus fruits. Harmonies Foie gras, shells, apéritifs.

(Barrel tasting) Lemon aromas of surprising intensity allow this wine to stand out from the crowd. But they also give it a dry, firm feel with acidity more dominant than sweetness.
JS: Green apple, toffee and lemon tart aromas open to a full body. Very sweet, with caramel, cooked apple and light vanilla flavors. Long and flavorful. Dense and sweet. Best after 2009.
Full yellow. Aromas of peach, flowers and marzipan. Dense on entry, then sweet and concentrated in the middle, with a slightly aggressive note of reduction showing today. In an awkward stage, but this boasts strong sappy, spicy material. Like a couple of these andrsquo;05s, this seems youthfully musclebound in the early going.
(Barrel tasting) Lots of spices, lemon rind and honey follow through to a thick, full-bodied palate. Long finish. Dense and sweet.
Full yellow color. Pure but reticent nose suggests peach. Rich, concentrated and plump; not yet showing its complexity but there’s a succulence here that’s captivating. Finishes quite persistent, with a hint of cherry-almond. Very promising.
