We have tasting the Grave 2007 Villa Bel-Air. Whit a nice stake, it was brilliant red wine. Very nice, soft, round, no tannins, a great wine. My Favorite one.
Lovely red cherries and red fruit, dry leaves, floraly boganvillia, red rose petals, slight cinnamon, spice. Smooth with lovely round soft body. Some hint of dry wood?
The bouquet is classic Cabernet Franc... lavender, fresh-cut cherries. I really enjoyed this medium-bodied wine, which would be great for either drinking with food or alone. It has subtle blackberry and black cherry predominance, without being jammy. Smooth and nicely balanced. A great example of a nicely performing bordeaux from the sattelite region of Lussac-St. Emilion.
