Great wine for the value.
I may even like it slightly more than 4 glasses. First up, the scent of perfumy violets are inescapable. Fruits galore without it being a fruit bomb. I'd say raspberries, red currant, blackberries, a tad oak. To me, it acted more like a Right Bank bordeaux. Light to medium body, medium tannicity. VERY smooth and nicely balanced. It says pure elegance. A pleasure to drink even without food.

Deep plum, dark chocolate and currant aromas follow through to a full body, with soft, velvety tannins. This is long and beautiful, with loads of fruit and texture. A very pretty wine. A classic Ste. Estephe! Seductive blackberry scents, with additional notes of cigar box, and black olive continue on the full-bodied palate. Velvety texture, but with excellent grip and serious length on the finish. Delicious now, but can be cellered for another 7+ years.
Good full ruby-red. Black fruits, licorice and sexy oak on the nose, complicated by black olive and a minty nuance.
