AUD$35 from Cloudwine. Intense ruby colour. Aromas of blackcurrant, cigar box and spice fragrance. Medium+ to full-bodied wine, young grippy tannins form an masculine structure, cleansing acidity, ripe berry fruit flavours. Surprisingly solid for an entry level Bordeaux, worth having a couple on your shelves. This would be fantastic paired with a curry goat, but I’m using this to wash down my veal/pork gumbo. Drink now – 2020.

chequer55... equally rubbish from you. I was reviewing the wine as it is now, not as it might be in 4 years time. By the way, the wine I tasted had no aging potential whatsoever.

I bought this wine from Tesco on a half-price offer. Undrinkable: strong sharp taste, no fruit, nothing resembling a Médoc (I've drunk many). Steer well clear of this one.

What rubbish from scolas 1 ! This wine will develop and become a good classy everyday drinking wine. Later, say 2014-15, it will be a strong and enjoyable wine, equal to the 2000 Ch T st b............buy it at this price and lay it down for 3-4 years and enjoy then,,

This wine is drinking beautifully at this time. Rounded flavors, full of fruit, with tannins mellowed out. I'm guessing it is pretty much at its peak right now.

This lower pedigree wine represents undeniable quality/value rapport in 2005. This vintage is so deep in quality among the better run, less heralded estates, that these wines should appeal to readers looking for terrific values from Bordeaux. Most of...
