Winemaker's Notes:

A beautiful dark purple colour for this 2008 vintage. An attractive nose of ripe fruits tempered with an elegant vein of oak. On the palate, the balance is perfect. A supple attack leads to a full, rounded body and an elegant, stylish tannic structure. The overall impression is of intense fruitiness, particularly black fruits and spices, expertly balanced with an edge of oak. A wonderfully promising finish. Wine/Food Pairing: A great match for country pâtés, lamb, duck, good cuts of beef, game, dishes served in sauce and mature cheeses. Ready to drink now, but will keep for 7 - 8 years in a cool, dark place.
