Medium body with aromas of coffee and chocolate. Balanced tannins and hints of oak with a pleasant but subtle finish.
External Reviews for Château Tour Prignac Red Bordeaux Blend Médoc
The nose is pure claret: earthy, leather, a bit of blackcurrant in there. It's an inviting nose - not at all scary. On the palate the blackcurrant is there still, joined by some red fruit. It's really not very fruity though, instead it's quite savoury with a long, peppery palate.
Food Pairings for Château Tour Prignac Red Bordeaux Blend Médoc
This dark purple wine is generally noted to be a great deal for the price. Toasted, smoky notes on the nose complement rich red fruit and vanilla scents. A well-balanced wine with smooth, round tannins and a long finish.
