A remarkable rarity which allows a slow ripening, retaining the complexity and the finesse of the aromas and tastes. The soil is argilo-calcaire with sand here and there. The hard limestone is present in the higher tiers which are mainly given over to dry white. The steep slopes of Terecul allows for excellent drainage. Its disposition and the abundance of clay favour the retention of the autumnal mists which are indispensable for the development of noble rot. Read less
