Big flavors of red fruit from beginning to end make this bordeaux pleasant to sip with or without food. Smooth all the way with a lasting finish. A tad of oak, balanced tannins, round this nice bordeaux very well.

From Jonathan Maltus's home property, the 2011 Teyssier (a blend of 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc) is a powerful, plush St.-Emilion displaying notes of ink, toasty oak, volcanic earth and hints of chocolate and coffee. An elegant, high-toned style, with violet and incense aromas leading the way, followed by more suave blackberry and black cherry sauce notes. SIlky and pure, with subtle length on the finish. -J.M. Wine Spectator. A Bordeaux Blend wine from Bordeaux in France. 2010 Teyssier, Chateau 750ml

Chateau Teyssier Saint Emilion Merlot Bordeaux has aromas of coffee, blackberry jam, licorice and smoke on the nose. It's palate has great round texture with flavors of ripe berries and spice. The finish is fine and concentrated with hints of fennel and plums.
