Food Pairings for Chateau Tayak
This is one of the best wines I have selected yet, according to my tastes. It is a bordeaux wine, from the Cotes de Bourg Appellation. From the back of the bottle, "Chateau Tayak is a 30 hectares estate, planted by the Romans, with an average of 35 years old vines. A beautiful harmony characterizes this easy to drink wine. It has a balanced nose of stoned fruits with delicate floral scents. It has a persistent attack that developes delicate, fresh and clear tannins." It is 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. It is distributed by Eagleeyeimports.com. I purchased this wine at Morgan and York in Ann Arbor, MI. The salesman indicated that they were at the end of their supply when I purchased this bottle around Aug 1. Most of the foregoing, I am recording for my own purposes so that I can find this wine in the future. I enjoyed the gentle tannins and the fruity character of the wine.
