User Reviews for Chateau Tahbilk Cabernet Sauvignon Nagambie Lakes

Winemaker's Notes:

Established in 1860, Tahbilk is one of Australia’s most historic wineries and vineyard plantings extend back to Tahbilk's founding with original pre-phylloxera Shiraz vines still surviving from 1860. The Purbrick family have owned the Tahbilk Estate since 1925 and continue the family tradition with Alister Purbrick as head winemaker and his daughter Hayley, a 5th generation family member. The nose and palate exhibit a complex mixture of tabacco and mint combined with underlying anise and capsicum fruit characters whilst the finish is long and flavoursome, balanced with firm tannins and fine acidity.
