A big, rich Bordeaux with loads of fruit and elegant tannin. It has a pure texture with great balance; a mouthwatering, chewy palate is bursting with black fruits and spice box notes. A complex wine with aging potential.

A lovely clear and clean purply colour, with violet highlights.Extrovert-develops nicely, with notes of ripe red-black fruits (raspberry, cherry, blackcurrant, blackberry sloe berry and bluberry). Very fresh, evolving into a toasty mocha crustiness that altogether brings a nuttiness that is very agreeable. Very smooth with good body and good quality tannins without in any way being harsh, an impression of fruitiness, well-rounded, full-bodied wine. After aeration, one finds secondary aromas on the nose, making a happy marriage of ripe grapes and spices well-balanced in mouth, savoury, with an excellent lenghty finish suave. A good fresh, aromatic wine, with a fine ageing potential, a good value that can be kept in your cellar for several years. Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Petit Verdot

It doesn’t get much better than this wine from the much acclaimed vintage of 2005. This winery was once a famed estate in the mid 1800s that got an intensive makeover when it was purchased in 1993. The clay and chalk soil give the grapes the perfect conditions for a long and consistent growing season. A near equal blend of Cabernet and Merlot gives this wine a fruit-forward flavor with a delicate balance of ripe fruit and round, smooth tannins.
