Food Pairings for Château Suduiraut Sémillon-Sauvignon Blanc Blend Sauternes
A delicately balanced Sauternes with lemon-orange aromas. Nectar-like with deep citrus, pear, peach and honeyed stone fruit flavors. A touch of botrytis. Delicious. One of the very best sweet wines of the vintage.
Outstanding, like drinking liquid gold. Lush apricot, not cloying at all. Love this wine.
A pinnacle in super-hedonistic sweet white wine. Light gold in color, with majestic aromas of citrus-blossom honey, apricot, saffron, pineapple, and a melange of other tropical fruits. Superb length and depth, with plenty of acid to keep it fresh despite its weight. Sinfully delicious dessert wine.
A perfect sweet wine, best drunk chilled on a summers day
The 1988 reveals a textbook, light gold color with a slight greenish hue. Although it does not display the weight of the 1990 or 1989, it has better acidity, high alcohol, and considerable sweetness. It is somewhat disjointed, needing time to knit together. It is impressive if its components are evaluated separately, but it is less noteworthy when reviewed from an overall perspective.
This looks to be a good Suduiraut. A medium golden color, with a very honeyed, rich, floral bouquet, this full-bodied wine is not as profound as the other 1983s. Sweet, with fine honeyed flavors, this is an elegant, graceful Suduiraut with plenty of character. However, given the vintage, I had expected even more.

Superlively, with orange blossom, white cherry, pineapple, apricot and peach flavors all bouncing off one another. The long, piecrust-framed finish lets it all hang together nicely.-J.M. Wine Spectator. A Sauternes Blend wine from Bordeaux in France. 2011 Chateau Suduiraut 6000ml
Bright golden yellow. Intense, deep aromas of ripe citrus, kiwi and guava are complicated by marmaladey smoky botrytis and a touch of honeyed mango, decadent notes that are rare in 2011 Sauternes. Very rich in the mouth, displaying extremely pure t... Stephen Tanzers IWC. A Sauternes Blend wine from Bordeaux in France. 2011 Chateau Suduiraut 1500ml
Really big and rich, with lots of raw date, glazed pear, creamed peach and fig aromas and flavors. Very lush and long, but also clean and round despite its heft. -J.M. Wine Spectator. A Sauternes Blend wine from Bordeaux in France. 2010 Chateau Suduiraut 1500ml
The Chateau Suduiraut has a comparatively rich botrytized bouquet with dried honey pineapple and a touch of Seville orange marmalade with exquisite definition and focus. The palate is well-balanced with a viscous texture and a good level of botrytis demonstrating fine minerality and tautness. Dried mango quince and spice all interlace the focused finish which is long in the mouth. Tasted against its peers this has a higher level of intensity and focus. A superb follow-up to the sensation

90% semillon, 10% sauvignon blanc. Aged in 50% new oak, planted to sand and gravel soils. The nose is very bright with high-toned notes, including citrus, coconut crème and tropical fruit. On the palate, loads of ripe yellow stone fruit and coconut c... Geoffrey Binder. A Sauternes Blend wine from Bordeaux in France. 2010 Chateau Suduiraut 1500ml
Château Suduiraut is a perfect example of 18th century architecture: noble, stately, and full of light. The château is surrounded by magnificent gardens designed by Le Nôtre, which make the estate even more attractive. The soil is composed of sandy-clay and gravel. Suduiraut is located in the commune of Preignac in the heart of the Ciron valley. The Château's privileged position fosters, from the month of September onwards, the growth of botrytis cinerea (the famous ônoble rotö) on the grapes. These are picked one by one in several waves. After the grapes have been pressed, the must is fermented in oak barrels for 18 to 24 months before bottling
